The tyres are not only quick but comfortable and have a terrific retro look.
These are the second set I have bought. The first set are still in fantastic condition after many ks of fast road work. They are now on my training bike.
Vanilla Bikes are professional, knowledgeable, personable and always most helpful.
Could not recommend more highly.

Firstly, great service. Items received promptly albeit with 19-24mm tubes for 25mm tyres. Offered to swap when in stock but seeing as these 'swell' to about 20x their original size I didn't think the 1mm smaller tube would be a problem fitted. Turns out they're fine.
Tyres fitted well on my Shamal Ultra's no levers needed just some firm effort.
They blow up well, I tend to go to 110psi the night before to give me about 100 the next day ride. They lose pressure (the tubes) over the week to about 60psi but all is good as I always check and inflate first.
Tyres, these look the business but possibly a little odd on my green Emonda. It's personal I guess.
Riding, these are firm tyres and fast. They appear to grip really well and as they're new I'm only pushing them gently but so far I feel confident which is good enough for me. Swapping from a pair of One's which I've found slipping on smooth roads and when riding over muddy surfaces from construction traffic.
Ridden over a lot of debris, especially on our notorious cycle path which gets all the road shingle flicked up onto and has punctured many a previous tyre (One's again), with no problems.
From my tyres I want fast and puncture free and am prepared to pay if I don't have to stop and spend time repairing. So 100+ miles in a couple of weeks I'm happy (One's again punctured first ride).
So, in all, I like these tyres and I hope they keep performing well.
Lastly, they clean well too, so no problems with the tan sidewall turning black yet.
