We at VanillaBikes are riders, first and foremost.
On a weekend you might find us on your local climb. The worse the weather, the heartier the wave. It’s not always fun, but it’s always enjoyable.
This attitude, a northern necessity, spurred us to design our no-nonsense range of clothing, JT Apparel. Discerning riders may be able to decipher this cryptic title (an horrible, terror-inducing, steep berg). Our jerseys, bibs, warmers, baselayers and socks are an ode to the sensation of cresting the summit.
We’ve been testing this gear for a considerable time now and we’re very excited to be able to release it. Adam has consistently been washing his kit at 90° and testing the kit to destruction, Alex rode his to Greece, Kev has been squeezing into the smaller sizes to test the seam construction and Adam’s original concept designs have changed very little. And so JTA is born. We're very impressed, if we say so ourselves.
For the time being we’re releasing only the baselayer and the jersey into the wild. The jersey is a midweight short-sleeve affair with excellent breathability in a performance-fit. The baselayer is a high-wicking garment for a temperature range of 15-30°. Paired together, you have the perfect UK Summer upper-half. Keep an eye out for the rest of the range, due to arrive in August.
Until then, happy riding in our JT Apparel.
