The professional teams cannot function without water bottles; they are important tools that have to meet very high standards.This season the elite riders from the Rabobank, Quick Step, Lampre, Omega Pharma-Lotto, Saxo Bank and Astana teams will start their races equipped with the ecological Tacx Shiva. This sturdy water bottle features a powerful design and a screw-on cap. The Shiva distinguishes itself from the rest through some excellent functionalities: Easy to squeeze so you can drink fast on the bike  screw-on cap with a leak proof spout  easy to fill and clean  ecological, biodegradable  Available in 500 cc and 750 cc.  The Shiva is made out of biodegradable plastic. By adding a tiny amount of a raw material called Bio-batch, the plastics molecular structure is modified such that it will ultimately disintegrate and end up as Biogas and Biomass. These will serve as fertilizer for the soil and will be fully absorbed by nature. Light, heat and moisture do not affect the products quality. The Bio-Bottle label is mentioned on the bottom and in the print. With Shiva the Pro teams expect to endure less criticism from the spectators about the throwing away of water bottles in the environment.
